About Meredith

My name is Meredith McKown. I am a former women’s health nurse with 16 years of clinical experience, a portrait photographer, and the founder  of Love Connect Tend. My work has always been rooted in caring for others and seeing people in their best light. I created Carte Blanche in response to the systemic failures exposed by high-profile investigations involving people who have experienced sexual violence. Our project seeks to challenge stigma, center autonomy, and affirm that these experiences do not define a person or ultimately dim their light.
